The improved self-cleaning behaviour is achieved by a reduced angle inside the flange and a longer-coated non-return-valve. This minimizes the volume of the nozzle melt transition area. The self-cleaning effect is maximized with superior heating control achieved with a separate flange heater band temperature regulation. For transparent plastics processing, a separate glazing package is also available (with multi-ball check valve).
